Everyone is special
After a good break in December, its back to school! Today was a day of understanding more about the school and department plans for 2021 and getting ourselves mentally prepared for school. One key point shared during department meeting was about the different types of learning experience. This made me ponder about what kind of learning experience I have been giving to my students and how I can be more deliberate in my lesson planning to allow them to have an enjoyable learning experience. Currently, acquisition is the most common type of learning experience for my lesson so in 2021, I could try to include more of the other types of learning experience to enhance student learning. Another key point shared during the department meeting was about discovering our strengths and leveraging on each others strengths as we work together as a department.
